The Rev Roof Top Tent is a modular system that offers many advantages over ordinary roof top tents!

40 -70 lbs lighter (18 - 32 kgs) than similar sized roof top tents. 

Portable. 1 person can easily move components on and off the vehicle.  Quickly convert vehicle back to a daily driver as needed.

Ground use. When not roof top camping, use the Rev Tent anywhere at the campground, in a pick-up truck bed, or any flat surface at least 48”x 84”/ 1220mm x 2134mm.  Camp comfortably where vehicles can’t. 

Thicker Mattress. Compare to all other roof top tent mattresses at only 2-3” / 51-76mm thick. The Rev Tent clocks in at 4”/ 10cm with the added bonus layer of a puffy quilted topper.   

True 4-Season. The Rev Tent is the only Roof Top Tent with a full top to bottom fly to offer real 4 season protection. 

Amazing 360* views. 4 floor to ceiling openings with screens offer unobstructed views.  

Wind resistant. No giant plastic or aluminum lid or “top hat” style fly sheet to create a wind catching sail in strong winds.

The Rev Roof Top Tent includes the Rev Tent, the Rev Platform, the Rev Ladder, Ladder Carrying Case and all necessary straps and hardware for mounting to load bars and roof racks.*

* Includes all necessary hardware for mounting to a roof rack with oval/rectangular slats and to cross bars that are no wider than 3.5” / 90mm and no higher than 1.5” / 38mm 

** If you are mounting the Rev Roof Top Tent to cross bars, the bars should be positioned no closer than 24"  / 61 cm , and no wider than 40" / 102 cm.  Recommended distance between the bars is 32".

***Vehicle roof and cross bar dynamic (driving) load carrying capacity must be at least 150 lbs / 68 kgs

Q:  HOW EASY IS THE SET UP? 
A:  Easy.  Due to the modular nature of the Rev Tent system there are a few quick steps.   1. Remove the ladder from the storage bag and Rev Tent from the platform.   2. Attach the ladder to the platform.   3.  Fold platform open.  4.  Pitch the tent.  5. Attach the Rev Tent to the platform with the 4 Rev Straps.   The set up shouldn't take more than 5-7 minutes -  no more time than an ordinary roof top tent.

Q:  HOW DO I TRANSPORT THE REV TENT & PLATFORM? 
A:  We at C6 call the packing method the “Pancake Stack.”  The ladder, stored in the ladder case, is strapped to the tent, which is in turn strapped to the platform.   The Rev Roof Rack Tent includes all the necessary Rev Straps.

Q: I'M WORRIED I'M TOO SHORT TO SET UP THE REV TENT WHILE ITS UP ON THE VEHICLE!  
A:  You might be!  Who are we to judge?  You can stand on the tires and inside the vehicle with the doors open to assemble the poles, or many Rev experts choose to set up the tent on the ground and then lift it to the top of the platform.  Remember, the tent only weighs 25 lbs and can be easily carried by 1 person. 

Q:  CAN I MOVE THE PLATFORM ALONE OR WILL I NEED HELP? 
A:  The platform weighs 48 lbs / 22 Kgs.    It is not difficult for one person to lift the platform to the vehicle roof before a trip or to remove it for storage after a trip.

   Q:  CAN I LEAVE THE PLATFORM ON MY VEHICLE? 
A:  You can, but it’s not recommended.  You’ll get many more years of use out of the product if it is kept out of the elements while not in use.   

      Q:  HOW DO I STORE MY REV TENT? 
A:  We recommend hanging it on your garage wall. If you don’t have a garage, you can store it under your bed, or in a walk in closet. You can even break the mattress down and store the tent in the original boxes if necessary.
